a. Supply and Installation of Basketball Court (Including Fixtures and Fittings)
- Site Preparation: Clear the site of debris and level the area to the specified grade. Barricade the work area to prevent unauthorized access.
- Subgrade and Base Preparation: Excavate and compact the subgrade, then lay a sub-base layer with 95% maximum dry density (MDD) compaction. Install a polythene sheet to prevent moisture ingress before pouring concrete.
- Concrete Base: Pour and level concrete using the approved mix. Compact with vibrators and cure for a minimum of 7 days.
- Fixtures and Fittings Installation: Install basketball posts, backboards, and rings per approved drawings, ensuring alignment and secure anchoring.
b. Athletic Surfacing
- Ground Preparation: Compact the subgrade and sub-base, ensuring a smooth and even surface. Conduct compaction tests to confirm requirements.
- Rubber Layer Application: Apply a base layer of SBR rubber using a Flexilon binder, ensuring even thickness. Allow the layer to cure before applying the top EPDM layer.
- EPDM/TPV Surface Layer: Apply and compact the EPDM/TPV top layer, ensuring uniform distribution. Tamp and smooth the surface, monitoring for any imperfections.
- Final Inspection: Allow the surface to cure and inspect for consistency. Ensure proper drainage and evenness across the entire athletic area.
c. Supply and Fixing of Basketball Court (Including All Related Civil Works and Accessories)
- Excavation and Leveling: Excavate the court area to the specified depth and level. Install a compacted sub-base with 98% MDD.
- Concrete Pouring and Finishing: Pour concrete for the court base, ensuring a smooth finish. Cure the concrete for the required period.
- Surface Marking: Paint court lines and boundary markings as per approved drawings and specifications, ensuring high visibility and durability.
- Accessory Installation: Install court accessories such as benches, trash bins, and safety barriers as specified in the project plan.
d. MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) Basketball Cour
- Site Layout and Preparation: Mark the MUGA boundaries as per approved drawings. Excavate and prepare the subgrade with compaction.
- Concrete and Surface Application: Pour and level concrete for a stable base, followed by rubberized flooring for multi-sport functionality.
- Sports Equipment Installation: Install basketball goals and other MUGA accessories, ensuring each fixture meets the design specifications.
- Final Surface Marking: Apply multi-sport line markings for basketball and other sports, ensuring correct alignment and visibility.
e. Supply and Installation of Chain Link Fence (Including All Required Accessories)
- Site Preparation and Layout: Mark the fence line, including gate positions, based on approved drawings. Clear the area and excavate post bases to a depth of 600mm.
- Post Installation: Place intermediate, corner, and end posts in the excavated holes, aligning them with the fence line. Fill the holes with concrete to secure the posts, ensuring proper leveling and alignment.
- Fence Fabric Installation: Unroll the chain link fabric along the fence line, weaving stretcher bars through the mesh ends. Attach the fabric to the posts with tension bars, clamps, and short winders to achieve the desired tension.Line Wire and Tying: Install line wires along the top and bottom of the fence, securing the fabric to these wires every 300mm. This provides reinforcement and stability to the fence.
f. Supply and Marking of Basketball Court Lines as per Drawings and Specifications
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the basketball court surface is smooth, clean, and free of dust or debris. Verify that the court is fully cured and leveled according to specifications.
- Line Marking Layout: Using approved drawings, mark reference points for court lines, measuring carefully to maintain accurate dimensions.
- Application of Line Marking Paint: Apply high-visibility, durable acrylic paint for line marking. Use stencils or masking tape to ensure clean, straight lines.
- Final Inspection: Once the paint is dry, inspect the markings to confirm they align with specifications. Make any necessary touch-ups to enhance clarity.
g. Supply and Marking of Basketball Court Lines as per Drawings and Specifications
- Site Preparation: Clear the site and level the surface. Compact the subgrade to ensure stability, and lay the sub-base material with 95% maximum dry density (MDD) for tennis and volleyball courts.
- Concrete or Asphalt Base: Pour concrete or asphalt to create the court base, ensuring a smooth and even surface. Use a polythene sheet below the base layer to prevent moisture ingress.
- Surface Finishing: For acrylic surfaces, apply a base coat followed by multiple layers of Plexipave or similar surfacing material. Allow each layer to dry thoroughly.
- Court Marking: Mark lines according to approved specifications for tennis and volleyball. Use durable, weather-resistant paint for visibility.
